12th November 2014
Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: ssw
Wind Stength: 14/20
Surf / Sea State: Horendous :(
Air Temperature: 13
Sea Temperature:
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 23.34 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 4.31 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

I had to work an extra nightshift last night and didn't get home until 3:30 but was up by 10:30 and after breakfast decided to take my kit to the sea before the tide got too high !!! I got to The Dip just before midday and the wind was all over the place - 14 to 27 mph !!! and a big sea :( I decided to give it ago while I still had some beach ! I went with 6.4 but fully cammed - not ideal as I am still looking for a 6.5 rotational and also I would like to replace my broken 7m !!! Getting off the beach was ok if you were patient but I was way underpowdered as the s wind seemed to by swinging sw - a bit off here ! I managed to get going just a little farther out where the sea was really big and the return to the beach was virtually assailable !!! :( with chop on chop on chop - worse than crap !!! I went out three times in all but things got even worse as the tide came in !! The only good thing was the lovely sunny mild day and for a sailor who likes to try and fast Felixstowe approaching high water is awful :( Then went home and took Mag for a walk at the lovely Levington and to check the conditions as might sail here tomorrow ???
